The DOWNING CAFE was established in 1958.  We are located at 306 Main Street/Hwy 170 in the basement of the Historic Downing Civic Hall.

Although THE DOWNING CAFE has been featured in the likes of MIDWEST LIVING, BETTER HOMES & GARDENS, ROAD FOOD, & CAFE WISCONSIN, most of the locals know us for the BEST Breakfast in Town, the FINEST Fish Fry Around, and our UNSURPASSABLE PIE.
